Pierre Poilievre Interacting with Toronto Chinese Community prior to the Chinese New Year

On January 6th, 2023, Canadian Platform in Advocacy for Community Awareness (CPACA) reporter Richard Lee attended the Chinese New Year Gala held by the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC). Mr. Pierre Poilievre MP, the CPC leader in company of other CPC MPs greeted guests at the event in Scarborough, interacting with every attendee and delivering Chinese New Year greetings “Hope that through the participants, I would like to extend my sincere New Year greetings to the Chinese Canadians”.

Pierre Poilievre was warmly welcomed by the participants in return. At the event, Pierre Poilievre presented his views on topics such as the political program of the CPC, Canadian economic development, the prospect of Canada-China relations, and expectations for the next general election.

Accompanied by CPC MPs, Pierre Poilievre had dinner with Chinese supporters and delivered a speech to those who attended the banquet. At the same time, Pierre Poilievre sang "Happy New Year" in Chinese together with the participants, and delivered everyone the best wishes for the Year of Rabbit.

As the new leader of CPC, the interaction of Pierre Poilievre with the Chinese community made everyone feel heartfelt warm and friendly. Wishing the CPC new group brings new atmosphere to make a better tomorrow of Canada!
